Orchestra Victoria In Concert

Conductor, Nicolette Fraillon AM

Orchestra Victoria returns for the fourth annual Bendigo Festival, a unique ten-day music festival that brings one of the country’s finest orchestras back to the City of Greater Bendigo.

The wonderful musicians of Orchestra Victoria will present a huge variety of concerts across the city and region, in ensembles large and small. The full orchestra will then unite for the final full orchestral concert at the wonderful Ulumbarra Theatre.

Entitled Love and Hate, the programme will feature the Symphonic Dances from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein and Vaughan-William’s Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis.

Conducted by Nicolette Fraillon AM, Artistic Director of Orchestra Victoria the music will explore the emotional extremities of love and hate and the impact of these on human existence across centuries.

Join us for a powerful and moving journey.

"Orchestra Victoria responded with beauty, brilliance and tireless playing."
